Walk for Life 2026

The Walk for Life is back! It has been several years since we held this beloved fundraiser, and we are so excited to bring it back. We are going back to the classic Walk-a-thon style. Participants will gather sponsors to pledge a donation to the Life Center based on how far that person intends to walk. Participants can ask friends, family, businesses, or their church to sponsor them. Churches can also sponsor a whole group, like a youth group or Sunday school class. Sponsors can give any amount they choose! Participants will receive a free t-shirt (as long as supplies last please pre-register to guarantee you get a t-shirt). There will also be a prize for the participant who raises the most pledges. You can click on the “Walker Pledge Form” button below to start gathering your pledges.
In honor of the 250th anniversary of the signing of the Declaration of Independence, the Walk for Life will be patriotic themed! Come dressed in your most patriotic outfit. Wear red, white, and blue, dress up like Uncle Sam or the Statue of Liberty, go all out! There will be a prize for the most patriotic participant.
The Declaration of Independence states, “We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness”. The first thing listed is the right to life. If we do not have the right to our own lives we do not have any rights at all. The Life Center is dedicated to fighting for the rights of the unborn by removing any excuse a mother might have for aborting her baby.
If you would like to participate in the Walk for Life please click the button below to pre-register. Pre-registration will be open until April 1st. Pre-registering guarantees you receive an event T-shirt.
Once you have registered, please download the Walker Pledge form by clicking on the button below. Then you can start gathering pledges! You will bring your filled-out pledge form and any money you receive to the Walk for Life on April 18th. Please have your sponsors make out any checks to “Laurel County Life Center”. Sponsors can choose to be billed or pay their pledges through cash, check, or online through PayPal. If they choose PayPal, make sure they put your name and Walk for Life in the memo space.
If you would like to help us put on this event, you can be an Event Sponsor. Event sponsors will be listed on the back of the event t-shirt, will be mentioned in our Summer Newsletter, and will be given a shout-out on our Social Media.
Churches or businesses can be event sponsors, but you can also give a donation in honor or in memory of a loved one, and their name will be added to the back of the t-shirt.
